Have you ever found a great website or blog and know that the answer you want is some where in the content, but you can’t find it and you’ve already spent enough time searching and need to get back to what you were doing before you got sucked into the site in the first place?  If you want to a DIY Google Tip and want to learn how to search a website or blog that doesnt’ contain a Google Search Box read on…

Go to Google.com and in the entire Search Box type the following:

Step 1- The word or phrase (use quotes for phrases)  “linking strategy”  or simply linking will give you a more general search
followed by…

Step 2- A single space
followed by…

Step 3 -The word: site
followed by…

Step 4- A colon
followed by…

Step 5- The entire URL of the website

Example:

linking site:http://pqinternet.com/

*NOTE: There is no space between the colon and the URL

Click ENTER, sit back & watch the magic.  You’ll get a list of results showing only those articles on that particular website that reference that word or phrase!

If you want to see the actual results for this particular search you will need to right click on your mouse to copy the entire line and then paste it into the google.com search to see the results.

Side Note: This is a great internet business site by Fred Black.  If you choose to spend some time here you’ll definitely learn a lot about growing your online business.

Here’s my final tip…searching and researching can create additive “google behavior” - be sure to set a time limit of 15 to 30 minutes because you may find your self knee deep in great information, but you’ll have become distracted from your original purpose.
